Every country is power-packed with some tough cybersecurity to ensure their safety from cyber-attacks, as it’s an era of cyberwar and not the physical war with guns and bullets.
According to the reports, Ukraine claimed that it addressed a cyber attack and claimed that Russia was the main cause of the war. Ukraine suspected that Russia is involved in a hybrid war with its neighboring countries and is increasing the disputes
As per the report, the ministry of digital development addressed the issue after Microsoft spoke about the problem claiming that thousands of computers detected malware in the Ukrainian government agencies. The malware is said to be the most dangerous termed ransomware
The attack is connected with the internal dispute going on in Russia and the government is trying to threaten neighboring countries as well so that they do not support or give flames to the internal dispute with Moscow.
The issue is said to have taken new turns, therefore there will be a joint discussion between both countries to provide the conclusion to the ongoing dispute.
Microsoft reported that the Ukrainian website was temporarily offline and the
numbers are still unknown for the industries which were affected by the cyber attack. The United States claimed that it will work with Ukraine to combat the cyber attack and warned Ukraine to be safe as there are possibilities of more cyber attacks in the near future.
It is not the first time that Ukraine addressed a cyberattack, IN 2017 Ukraine was affected by the most dangerous virus Not Petya which caused severe damage to the economy.
