Instagram Subscriptions Feature Specked In India, Enable Users to Pay for Exclusive ContentInfodeal users
Social media platforms have had a rough few months, with the market correction affecting most of them. As per the latest reports, Instagram is practicing new subscription policies that would help raise its profit.
The subscription pricing is displayed in rupees, and the option to subscribe to the selected creator accounts is available only to users in India. The subscription is available to users in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, and Italy, Memon said. The subscription can be availed by tapping the three-line icon on the profile page of the creator. Users can choose between three subscription options – Monthly, Weekly, and Bi-Weekly.
The app is yet another way that the company is trying to keep its subscribers happy. The badges next to a username on the app indicate whether or not a user is a subscriber. A purple badge next to a username indicates that the user is a subscriber-only story, which means that they can only see certain stories that are marked as subscribers-only. They’ll also be able to watch exclusive live videos, which are videos that are recorded specifically for subscribers.
