India is Planning to Develop EV Technology To Improve Transportation

India has received bids from several companies for a pilot project on the rapid mass transportation system, also called sky-trains, which will be tested in the country. The proposal has been on the drawing board for more than a decade but it is finally being implemented. The project is being built in the same corridor where the Delhi Metro was first built and is expected to reduce travel time between the two terminals on the line by more than half.
India is finally testing an electronic transportation system providing aid to its citizen in traveling very and reaching their destination very fast. The electricity trains, cable cars have been the first choice of passengers in India to reach their destinations. The hilly areas are way more difficult to travel to therefore ropeways are planned to provide travelers with safe travel. The Union Minister is said that he is planning to launch light rail cars. The technical development will be a part of the scheme which is named reimagining India 2.0. The transportation minister addressed Indian – the American audience and stated about the future project related to electrical transportation that is cost-effective as well.
There is the planning of initiating a project which helps in connecting ports and managing the water waste. The plans are expanded to create emergency landing airplane runways. India is open to collaborating with a company in the US to work on these electric transportation systems. These plans are to completed by 2024.
The sky-train is also in the plans of being built by a group of companies including Tata group, which has also invested in a similar project in the United Arab Emirates. is looking for an electricity-based technology(EBT) for mass rapid transportation.
