The Google application named as Google Duo has created a new record by hitting 5 billion play store installations. It was created by Google to compete with Whatsapp and the other video calling service i- message. 

However, Allo has completely taken down from the play store amidst losing market customers but the Google duo managed to grasp user attention and reach the mark of  5 billion installations. 

Earlier Google Planned to collaborate with Google’s duo with Google Meet but the cooperation did not work out. The reason behind the success of Google Duo were the latest features installed by the application and satisfaction of the needs and wants of the customers. Google will be soon launching more features for the enhanced experience of the customers.

The most important factor in video calling services is the quality of the video call and Google Duo has provided the best video quality services along with the connectivity. 

It will improve its cloud-computing services and video conferencing to help people experience better video calls. A new feature that has also been introduced by Google in the Google Duo is the facility to capture pictures during an ongoing video call. This facility will be available on chrome books, tablets as well as

smartphones . It also has the feature of sending the captured pictures taken in the video call. Video calling has become an important routine in the lives of many people whether it is for official purposes or doing regular chit-chat sessions.
